Best way to frag an encrusting Monti

I have a peice of encrusting Montipora, M. aequituberculata, I think, that's about 6" by 3". The rock it's encrusted on is about 3" thick. And I'd like to frag half of it. What would be the best way?
Chisel? Dremel with carbide bit? Hacksaw?

just snap it where you want to make the frag

if you can remove the rock i would say cut accross the monti were you want to take a frag and then take a hammer and screwdriver and drive the screwdriver into the rock from the side of the monti and break the piece out
