DC pumps on Carx?

I’m starting to see/hear of builders putting DC pumps on calcium reactors. What do you think the benefits are?

I was thinking the ability to turn it up every now and then to “lift” the media like in a water filtration system but other than that, I was wondering what the upside would be.

I have the varios on mine and it is super quiet

Not sure if you want to stir up the media sediment in the chamber. Yes, you want some recirculation but the sediment is best to let it settle at the bottom to avoid clogging the tubings.
