disappearing fish

I have had 3 damsels disappear in a week! They were on the small side about an inch. no sign of them anywhere... no remains, no nothing. I don't think anyone would eat them, all I have is a naso, yellow tang, false perc., and a few hermits...any ideas where the heck they went?!?!

A good clean up crew can take care of a fish like that in one night if they die.

once in a while I'll find a dried up jumper on the floor. Do you have a carpet anemone by any chance?

nope no carpet anemone.. I just have FOWLR and a few HUGE hermits. I am assumign they died and the hermits took care of them.... the thing is I wouldleave for work in the morning (9am) they would be swimming around eating normally, come home (7:45pm) and they're gone!

I'll bet they jumped. Do you have a cat? Mine would always destroy the evidence after jumpers.

nope no cat and i have screening on top of the entire tank to prevent jumping.
