Diving in the Coral Triangle

I finally pulled the trigger on one of my dream dive trips - the coral triangle. I did a 8 day liveaboard in Raja Ampat islands of Indonesia, and let me tell you from one reefer to another, it exceeded all my expectations, and i’ve dove many other amazing parts of the world. this was truly the best for me so far.

i’ll keep posting photos as i go through them, but here’s some teasers.

Getting there and paying for it were the worst parts, but once underwater, you forget about all of that!

Absolutely beautiful!!! So many different things to look at in these pictures. Thanks for sharing as this will unfortunately be something that I will probably never get to see in person.

This is awesome! I would love to do this. My dad grew up as a missionary there and went diving as a kid. I went back and snorkeled some of the shallow reefs there. Truly an amazing place! Great pictures!

Going through some old pics and came across these from when I was snorkeling in Indonesia in 2004. My dad had done diving there back in the 60's and said there was huge die off of what he remembered. Horrible pics, but I stupidly chased/took a pic of a sea krait.
