snails and emerald crabs and hand picking the long stuff. It seems to get less palatable when it gets long. Add a fuge and get the phosphates down and you'll be clear pretty soon.
Also look at what you are putting into the tank food wise. Maybe cut down or use different food.
There is no really quick fix, but since it is a strong sign of too many nutrients, you will probably be much happier fixing the root cause. Be aware that the tank may not show high nutrients in tests because the bryopsis is using it to grow all nice and leafy green.
