Getting rid of microbubbles

Does anyone know a trick to get rid of microbubbles caused by a protein skimmer? I have a Nuvo 16 with the aqua gadget skimmer?

Filter socks (nylon mesh bags).

no clue how that setup works but on a BC29 you can put both return pumps in one of the chambers (left in my case) and dump the skimmer outlet in the other one (right in my case). no more microbubbles. The skimmer feeds from the central chamber. The socks did not work too well for me, some bubbles where still getting through.
