I’ve been poking around here on and off as I’ve been prepping for my builds.

Currently have a custom Miracles 240gal FOWLR to be built into my family room once I finish fabricating the millwork. Also a 140gal cube reef I got from bdaley, with my (4) 40gal QTs almost complete prophylactic treatments of 1st round fish.

What type of fish are you planning to stock in the 240?

This is the list from the last round of ‘negotiations’ with the wife:

• Blueface Angelfish
• Kingi Angelfish
• Sapo or Golden Pufferfish (puffer is wife’s fav)
• Hippo Tang (currently in QT then growout in reef)
• Gem Tang (another on wife’s list)
• Maculiceps Tang
• Wrought Iron Butterfly Fish
• Bicolor Goatfish
• Harlequin Tuskfish (been on my list since a kid)
• smaller filler fish such as Anthias


Due to it being built into the family room, I had to make concessions with the wife as she likes the fish more than corals.
