Help identifying the problem

Hey guys can anyone try to help me figure this out this coral has been in my tank for two years and It started to died but not your typical RTN it Brown ranch it seems like the color get sucked right out of it and dies brown any idea what's causing this in the tank thanks.

This is absolutely the case. When I have an STN event it is often related to an unapproved expected alkalinity drop.
