Help My Hippo

My big hippo tang seems to be developing some sort of discolored patches on it's head close to the eyes. At first the patches were a duller blue than the rest of him. Now one patch seems to be turning almost white. Does anyone know what this is, and what I should do about it? He seems healthy otherwise. Eats like a pig.

It could either be HLLE or Ich, are they holes going into the head or bumps?
What are you feeding?

Sounds like HLLE. are you feeding it plenty of nori? what size tank? tankmates? water params?

Our Hippo shows white patches due to rubbing against the live rock where he sleeps at night. As he has gotten bigger and has to find larger crevices to sleep I have seen these patches grow larger. They go away after he finds a comfortable place to sleep. When that place gets too small and he moves elsewhere new patches appear. They are not an issue for our Hippo.

It's definitely not Ich. I will research HLLE. I have not been feeding nori lately.
