i just bought a pair of them [hope they do the job] why do they have 2 propellers. if you take the cover off the second one will be fee . the cover holds it in place thanks

If you are referring to part B, the lower portion only holds the impeller in place. The top part is the actual blade the pushes water.

i should of said they are terrible just to small for my tank .they are a good power head .just to small . now i have to sell them ,, we will see
