Mars aqua 300w one overmy tank.Color and grow my sps just fine.My radion is next to my tank collecting dust

I have owned 2 and both of them died inside of a year , the ballast went and when it did it energized the lights housing , got a nice shock !!! So I opened it up and gave it a once over to see if there was any wires touching , found none. There is no heat sink and its built like crap .
