So I cleaned my skimmer pump which is a Rio 1100 with the wire impeller mod.. and I also raised it so that it was an inch under the surface to try to get a better skim,.. However now it seems that the pump is much louder than it was before., I took it apart again to see if the shaft looked bent or anything else, but to my eye everything seems fine. When I block the venturi the pump runs quiet as can be. Any suggestions?. Thanks
