Micro bubbles and foam in filter sock chamber

Hi I need some ideas on my new set up that's been up since December I've tried adding bubbles traps and doubling up and different filter socks the bubbles are voting from my filter sock /skimmer and are making it to my return pump also I've never dealt with my other issue in my filter socks chamber after a week its begins to foam light a protein skimmer this is first time on 10 years having a tank I'm at a lose

Can you post a picture or sketch of your filter configuration?

Some General Tips:
- look for any “waterfalls” where water level drops 1” + over a baffle - consider raising the water level
- install a coarse mesh block between baffles
- redirect skimmer output away from return pump direction, even better if you can move the whole skimmer further away.
