Peppermint Shrimp Question

Will these guys eat corals? I have 2 in my tank that seem to be more aggressive the larger they get. Whenever I target feed my sun polyps, I have to sit there on guard until they have eaten, otherwise the shrimp rip the brine away from the sun polyps. Then last night, I see one picking through my Blasto Merletti. I could not tell if it was actually eating the coral or picking through stuff on the coral. The blasto does not look too happy today though. Do I need to get rid of these shrimp? And if I do, will I see more algae? Thanks.
