Power compact lighting

i just set up a 65 gallon reef tank (not full blown), using only a power compact, 110w...........how many hours of light is needed?

11 to 12 depend on what you are keeping.

Eleven or twelve is what you may want to shoot for, but if your tank is just set up I'd look at it as working your on time up to 10, 11 hours. I'd start at 6 or 7, and slowly work up to 10 in 1.5 months.
Has your tank cycled? How old are the bulbs?
