Hi everyone, I used to be an avid user of this site and forum, and reef keeper for that matter, but I went on a vacation, and I am not entirely sure what happened, I had an aggressive yellow anemone, that I have been blaming but it could have had more to do with my friend not properly taking care of the tank, but nonetheless I came home from a 2 week vacation to all of my corals either dead or on the verge of death, and fish were suffering (I assumed from the decaying dead corals) and after sinking several thousand dollars into this tank, I was heartbroken and took a break from saltwater fish until recently.

A little bio about myself (its been at least 4 years since I've posted on here so I doubt anyone remembers who I am) so I figured a reintroduction would be good. I live in Northborough, and have been keeping fish since I was about 5, I am a huge animal person and am currently studying business at assumption and have a certificate and associates degree in business administration. For work maybe some of you have seen me before, I worked at tropic isle a few years ago and at the petco in shrewsbury in the aquatic department, but for the last 3 years I have been a pet nuitrition specialist for Nutro and Biljac, and currently work for a company called The Pet Firm launching different pet products, and usually have worked out of petsmart, but have worked at just about every petco and petsmart in MA between those three jobs demonstrating products. I also ran a dogdaycare and dabbled in dog grooming on the side during this time. Also during this time my finance and I bred small animals (rats, guinea pigs, chinchillas) for Central Mass Aquatics (my version of disneyland).

Currently, I have a 37 g small reef that has been set up for roughly a year, and I just started adding coral (wanted to cycle and really put sometime into thinking about whether or not I was ready to do a reef again) but after about 6 months of healthy fish and crabs and shrimp (ermarld crabs, fire shrimp, arrow crab, banded pipefish, brittle stars, and a sally lightfoot) I was at central mass aquatics, and a rock of Zoanthids (spelling?) and couldn't resist. In addittion to what I listed I have some sailfin mollys, a maroon clown, sailfin tank (3inches), diadem dottyback, and a hawkfish.

I am about to set up a 75 or potentially 90g salt tank, and 56 soon aswell.

I am not so new to fish keeping but even with my experience I would call myself a beginner at best, when it comes to reef keeping, and wanted to rejoin this site to buy some corals from the users, and really get some advice and help to maintain my tanks, before you were all very friendly and helpful, and I bought quite a few frags from a guy off here named Bill (i think his username was/is BRSBill) I could be wrong though, but he helped me out a great deal, not only with some corals, but some amazing advice, and showed me his manderin that ate flake food. I wouldn't have believed it if I had not seen it myself.

I am looking to get a lot more Zoas, some mushroom, and I love xenia, for some reason they are my favorite, and some advice and tips from some expert reef keepers on here.

Thanks,
Bobby
