RODI Question

Hey All,
Sorry to hear of all of the tank issues of late. Had one myself. Came home to see the carpet all wet something funky happened with my ATO. Water somehow got into the electrical and cause some problems. I’ve rectified since.

Hoping this is a quick one. Looking for some feedback on RODI setup. (I already have one) but I’m hitting up the forums to ask for opinions on distance to what will be the storage tanks.

Specifically I’m trying to place the RODI water barrels conveniently. However, conveniently is defined as 20+ feet away from where the RODI system will be screwed to the wall/source water.

Are there any gotcha’s that I should keep in mind when pushing water 20+ feet away?

Definitely keep the ro unit higher than the storage containers

My RODI unit sits in the basement close to a drain for waste water, the unit feeds my ATO reservoir on the first floor. All told the length of the tubing far exceeds 20' and i've never had any issues.

I know it’s a small tube but head pressure has to accumulate, no?

Long output line is fine. I'd not think about it until about 40 or 50 feet and/or up a storey.
