Sticky union

Hey what's everyone use to loosen a sticky union? I can barely get my hand on it and can't get it loose!

I use a pair of channel locks. Funny that it's called a pair thought there's only 1. LOL

Channel locks or those oil filter pliers work good

Tried those but its still stuck. I feel like im going to crack the bottom of the tank!

bigger channel locks or a strap wrench.

You might be safer to cut and replace the plumbing if there is any concern of cracking the tank.

If there are ridges another option would be to get a metal puddy knife and a hammer to tap it loose.

Exactly what i did. Cut the plumbing
Can always redo that.
