as i was checking my chemicals the other day my calcium was high. so i simply ajusted my timer for five minutes less. my timer you have to just + or - the start or finish time. WELL it don't tell you that you have to reset the am/pm. so instead of 20 minutes of run time it was just 12 hours and 20 minutes. wtf, a whole 2 liter of calcium in the tank in 3 days. i have a 180 with a 55g sump (only half filled) so about 200g al together.
i already changed out 50 gallons and it now at 590 so i figure 3 more water changes should do it. and yes the pump is unplugged.
