I have moonlights from my LEDs
http://homepage.mac.com/sanker/PhotoAlbum36.html
and two 250w 10k MH
installed here:

I want to add some other lights. Right now I run the MHs from noon till 9pm. I would like to run them for less time to save on electricity (ha!) and preserve overall bulb life. Problem is the tank will be pretty boring with no lights on the rest of the time. Given the available space I have what lights could I add? I was thinking 36" from hellolights

the 10ks?
with the two lamp ballast kit:

I could hang them below my mh reflectors. That may put a squeeze on my arm access. My canopy is 9" inside height from the top of the tank to the mounting wood inside. Would the MHs damage the flourescent tubes if they were mounted under them?
or do I go with three 18" and run them between the reflectors

how long is are the bulbs when you add the ballast cap? I think it's pretty close to 18" inside diameter in my canopy.
thanks,
