Which local shops sell AquaMedic hanging kits?

Any local shops or online vendors besides champion sell the hanging kits for aquamedic lights? I need new wires for one of mine, they were cut and dont go low enough. Because of the fire at aquamedic they wont have these for a little longer and I was wondering where I should start calling to see if there are any lying around.

Was that before or after the fire at aquamedic in december? I doubt scott has any in stock, but I'll ask.

If you just need the wire, and not the other pieces you might try a frame shop. They usually have braided wire. If that doesn't pan out, you could try good ol' home depot or a hardware store. They should have braided wire, although it might be the correct diameter or gauge.

The problem is the braided wire is connected into that little piece that screws into the ceiling... How would I get the new wire in to that piece?

you'd have to crimp the connection and make sure it fit into the threaded socket.
