Zoa Question

Over the past few weeks it seems that my green hulk zoa's are extending their "stalk". I am curious as to why. Do they not have enough light and are reaching towards the "sun", like how some plants will lean into the sun?

zoas often do stretch toward the light if there is not enough.

I find that they also extend if there is no more growing space on where they are growing, they extend to be able to fit more heads.

they have plenty of room to spread out, i think they might need more light, they are at the bottom of the tank right now.

I recently added some zoas into my FOWLR that just has normal crappy AGA light because I had some zoas eating nudi and I wasn't sure if I got them off my bigger colonies (very "cavey"). I've noticed that they are extending much much more and it's def got to be due to the lack of lighting...
