Advice needed- JBJ Nano is giving me problems

That's for the water returning back to the tank from the pump. It attaches in the upper right corner and you can adjust it so the flow goes where you want!

oo thanks! i thought that might be it but it is so big it looked out of place when i put it there.

You can actually shorten it by removing some of the links and reattaching the ends. i took mine off completely and get better flow throughout the tank. You can also use a hydorflo in place of that!
