Anyone running a reef tank without any fish?
I have had it with bouts of ich. I have a Black Hawaiian Blenny, a Mandarin, a Pair of Clowns, a Chromis, and up until about an hour ago a Powder Blue Tang (RIP). I introduced the Tang into my main tank about a month ago after being in the QT. I have been waiting years to get a Tang and I finally got a large enough tank. Last week we lost power and the tank had no flow or heat until I got the generator up and running about 8 hours later. Long story short, tang+no power=ich. I am not sure how many more I will lose but I am done with keeping fish in an enviroment where I can't use more effective treatments for this parasite. This is the second time in 5+ years I have had ich in my main tank and I don't deal well with losing livestock, I'm comfortable enought to admit that any loss upsets me.
If you are not keeping fish, I am wondering what you keep other than corals to keep you tank interesting.
