I think my she is actually a he....

So I think my mandarin who is a she is really a he... I haven't really noticed the front dorsal fin until the past few days when she/he has been mowing down on the white worms... Thoughts?

Yup. That’s a male in the making.

That's what I'm thinking as well... "She" has never really flashed it before a few days ago. I've also read up that the male spotted mandarins don't have as pronounced of a dorsal fin as the psychodelic mandarins...

Thanks he/she has been a lot of work to keep her that fat and healthy in my small tank but well worth it!!!
