Using this for the first time on my pumps. Can someone tell me what concentration and for how long to soak pumps with Ca coated on them.
Can I use it on plastic pump parts as well?

I usually add a cup to the gallon jug and soak it overnight. Ive used it on plastic parts too. works good but it has a smell so ventational is a good idea. I think people use it at higher concentrations too.

I usually dilute it with equal parts water. Works real fast that way. Never seen any harm to any other parts other than your skin! Be careful, especially with the vapors. I usually clean my parts outdoors.

vinegar works wonders and cheap at the dollar store. safer besides.

correct...Use with hot water & it works like a charm.....The heavier the buildup the stronger the concentration...
You can also use lemon juice from concentrate too!!!

Thanks guys, I hate the fact that I can't just stick my hand into the acid to grab something... and you know I am going to do it some day!!
