need help picking a skimmer

i have a pro flex 29g sump and i can not seem to find a skimmer that will fit in it besides the reef octopus space saver

the only place i can fit a skimmer is where i have my return pump drawing water from

It's what I have and I LOVE it. And the footprint is as small as you'll ever find.

The footprint is 7x6.

A HOB model may work though if you put it at the drain section. Having the skimmer in the same section as the return can send microbubbles up to the display.

What size is your tank? That's important in us helping you find a proper skimmer.

Yikes,$349 for that skimmer.
Have you considered running a recirc skimmer off your overflow?
No need for a feed pump and they work really well.

The SWC skimmers are pretty sweet bang for your buck. I had the 150 or 160 on my old 55 and the thing was a beast. And in case it matters to you the pump on the skimmer is pretty damn quiet (it mattered for my wife )

Whenever I upgrade way down the road I'll be repurchasing a SWC for the larger tank...

i took some measurements and decided on the reef octopus diablo XS 160. hopefully the pump is quiet tank is right next to my bed and directly above my parents room. my monster blueline return pump should drown it out

If the thing is too loud you can always upgrade to a Sicce pump to run the skimmer. Have one on mine and my laptop fan is louder than the skimmer.
