Need help. Skimmer won't turn on

I need help. I have a super reef octopus in sump and just plugged it in and wont turn on. Is there something else I need to do to get it going?

I assumed you checked the plug? Depending on how old the pump is try giving it a tap. I have had pumps get locked up before.

Have you opened up the impeller side of the pump?
Like mentioned above may be stuck.

Sounds like you should take it apart and give it a good cleaning in vinigar even if it did start after a delay.

Bubble blasters and water blasters are sensitive. They will ******** themselves down if the pump heats up. Example impeller is crudded up and not spinning freely the friction crated heat and the sensor ********s down the pump. A safety feature but can be annoying for sure
