RBTA split - issues?

I have 2 rbta's. 1 that I rescued from a bleached out 2" anemone to its current 8" size. The 2nd one was almost 10". The 2nd one split last night. It looked like it had been working on it for over a week. The 2 are still side by side. When the split occurred, my skimmer went BONKERS. Anyone else have this happen? Other than possible roaming, any other issues I should be awRe of?

just curious, did you have a temp spike that would have killed some stuff off
and caused the RBTA to split

I had 1 for years that was 2 feet in diam that didnt split til I went away and the GFI went and thus the heaters

Nothing has changed in the tank. I am running biopellets now but the "stretching" prior to the split has been going on for weeks. No temp spikes, no ph changes, no real changes at all. My clowns are back and forth between the 2 anemones now 3. I watched the final split and there was a lot of slime and stuff from the anemone. So I was chalking the skimmer going nuts to that.
