RBTA Split

I noticed my RBTA was shriveled up the other day, and upon further inspection I found another RBTA barely showing its tentacles hidden in a cave. he split! I think the original is doing great, he's fully open and my clown is still hosting him. The other guy however is still small and hidden. Should I do anything to help him/her out or just let em be????

My one rbta is now many, though over a course of three years or so. Growing like mad now under halides.

Yours should be fine if left alone. They heal up and reform a mouth in a matter of days. If unhappy it'll move to where it wants. If it fails to keep its foot attached, that could be of concern.

Mine has split a couple times now. Seems to take about a week for the smaller split to really recover and find a happy spot in the tank. After a week though they have been fine. Good luck, i wouldnt worry.
