At least they found a "cure".
I am struggling with what to do about a big old 17 year old Stephanocoenia Caribbean coral that is having problems. I thought it was the hairy mushrooms which I removed -- much to my clowns dismay --- probably a month ago. I have run carbon in a bag in the sump, use RODI, water parameters have really been all within limits (Ca 400-450, Alk 7-9, Mg 1300, Phos 0, PH 8.2, temp 77, salinity 1.025). I have seen no improvements. Asked on MD and Eric B. asked about black bugs -- I see nothing. I just don't know what else it could be.
Before and now pics.
