Sick purple tang??

Hey everyone I’ve recently noticed my purple tang hasn’t been looking the hottest lately it’s been eating sea weed and pellets like crazy feeding my tank 2/3 times a day if anyone know what’s going on please help. One side of him looks perfectly fine while the other side looks grey.

Not an expert at fish disease but it looks similar to tang fingerprint disease, unfortunately not much info available.

^^ It could be tang fingerprint disease, or maybe the fish is getting stung by an anemone or LPS coral (sweepers) at night?

Fish are very stubborn about their sleeping spot. They will often refuse to move even if they are getting stung night after night by LPS sweepers or rubbing against zoas.
