I love my acros and really want to see them thrive in my newly 6 month old 35 gal tank. I would love to add a pygmy in the tank but I read the can be nippers with acro and clam ( witch I also have a maxima). Should I try? I do have a fish trap in hand. The end goal is to have a beautiful sps dominant tank. Anyone have these in their sps tanks?

If you have sps that are big enough, they can handle some nipping. My fox face tries to “clean” the ends of my tabling Acro all the time, no issues

It’s mostly little sticks but I have a bunch. What about the clam! The clam!

I would say if your main objectives is to have an SPS dominated tank then a big NO to Angels. If fish are your priority then YES.

Angels will most likely reduce SPS Polyp extension over time.

And it's not the acros you'll be worrying about. Trust me. You can kiss your acan garden goodbye in about a week with an angelfish.
