Finally getting around to a build thread on my dwarf seahorse tank. I just upgraded the tank to a eshopps deskmate! Attached are pictures of the old tank. Lack of filtration combined with hard to clean glass and frequent feedings made it too much work to keep the old setup going.
Tank / lights/ pump: all stock for now. Although planning an upgrade to a sicce for a more silent tank
Mods so far: innovative marine desktop fish guard for over the intake along with some very fine mesh to cover that
Stocking: a few pairs of dwarf seahorses, an unknown amount of babies, two photosynthetic gorgonians and one red finger gorgonian. Invert wise a few cerith snails , a limpet and a lettuce nudi
Macroalgae: calurpa prolifera and racemosa currently
Planned future livestock: possibly a pair of mated dwarf pipefish long term , and maybe some small sponges
Feeding: 3x a day a mix of frozen and live BBS and once a day I do add live pods
Water changes: 25 percent per week at the moment
