What does everyone use in substitution of interceptor? I don't know of a vet nor do i wish to go through the trouble of having a prescription written out to get interceptor...so with that said what do people us in its place? Anything specific they maybe sell at a lfs? I know betadine and interceptor are both supposed to take care of the main possibilities of pests.

The one and only thing interceptor dips are good for is red acro bugs. IIRC nothing else treats for those bugs, and interceptor treats for nothing else (except heart worm).

I went to a vet in Billerica about a month ago with some valid literature that I printed online about red bugs and interceptor. They had no problem selling me a pill which is good for 380 gallons. I think it was like 10 dollars. No prescription, just sold to me over the counter.

o really? Alright looks like there is no other route and i'm going to have to do the leg work. eaze333, do you know the name of the vet in billerica?
