My maroon is about 10 years old and would bite me at every opportunity. Fortunately now the clarki clown has relegated it to a corner in the back of the tank so my hands are safeI've had her for 15 years.
It's funny you mentioned that about the maroons. I didn't see my maroon for over a year and only an occasional glimpse of it for the next year but it too had lost some of its striping. Clown gray hair I guess. Can't really count the age of corals, but I have had the same pair of gold-bar Maroon clownfish since 1998, might even be earlier than that. That's at least 25 years I believe. They've slowly lost their stripes and now are almost just...well...maroon!
