chemiclean

Chemi Clean turns out to be an antibiotic.
The Label is very misleading, it reads "does not contain Erythromycin succinate or Phosphate", but it is Erythromycin Sulfate.
Normally you get dino (an algae) after using Chemi Clean to kill off Cyano, which is a bacteria.

i understand all that .my question is do you shut off skimmer for a time, do you shut off all pumps .that is not on the box,

It says on the box...
3.Continue using protein skimmer, although skimmer may require adjustment to prevent excessive overflow.
4. Maintain normal water flow using pumps and powerheads.

Hope that helps

Dong I have been fighting dino outbreak after using chemiclean for cyno for some time nowI have tried blackouts, dosing & letting nitrates elevate a bit and nothing has been fully successful. I was thinking of trying 25Watt UV on my 120G. Yes,No? Opinion on this in your experience?

Thanks,
Corey
