Cloudy water using Reef Crystals

I am setting up a 20 gallon and decided to mix the initial salt water in the tank itself. I had a bag of Reef Crystals that was sitting for two years but sealed with a rubber band. The salt looked normal. I made the water to 1.025 specific gravity at 77 F but it appears slightly cloudy after mixing overnight. Is this something I should be concerned about? I plan to add the live sand and live rock today to get the cycle started.

I would use it. As the tank cycles you are going to have to do water changes anyways. Before you are adding anything to the tank you are going to have to test it anyways. In with the new and out with the old. Why waste it.

If it is cloudy after 24 hours I will not use it. The bag was open and had 2 years old with that rubber band.

RC salt is very cheap, why risk the start of the tank.
