I am currently running (2) 14K Ushio 150 watt with 2 T5 actinic bulbs. I am interested in changing to Radium 20K, please let me know your feedback? Thanks

20,000K Radium HQI DE- 150W vs 14,000K Ushio HQI DE - 150W

When I had my MH's I went from a XM 10k to a phoenix 14k to a Radium 20k. The Radium 20k was by far my favorite. Supposedly same if not better Par values then the phoenix. I had great growth from my sps with the Radiums and great color.

Really? i was under the impression they had lower par ratings. is there any info on this anywhere?

i would think that you could get more growth out of 20k bulbs since bluer light is more useful for coral
i think around 440-460 nm is peak for photosynthesis, its not all about par
plus 20k generally have higher par than 14k.

i thought you had a good thing going on with your lighting and good growth ect, might take your coral some time to adjust to new lighting again.
